About Lisa
Lisa specializes in a range of voice over styles, including radio & television imaging, commercial advertising, promotions, documentaries, and character acting. Often described as friendly, warm, sexy and soothing, Lisa’s years of experience can deliver great quality in a timely manner. A graduate from the University of Virginia in 1980-something, Lisa launched her radio career in the Charlottesville/Staunton area before heading to the outer banks of North Carolina 3 years later. While spending days on the beach sleeping and nights on the radio, Lisa was heard and recruited to Richmond Virginia for midday’s at heritage station WRVQ (Q94). 4 short years later, Lisa took the helm as Program Director for Q94 and held that post for 11 years. In 2002, Lisa was ready for a new challenge and delivered at legendary Country outlet, 94.7 WQDR Raleigh N.C. Driving the triangle home every day with solid #1 numbers as afternoon personality and #1 numbers for the station consistently 12+ and 25-54. In her personal life, Lisa has made a point travel the world and love animals. At any given time, there are at least 5 dogs roaming her house which were rescued from one shelter or another. Lisa likes to spend her spare time at the beach with her dogs and her partner in life and business Bill.
